Classical Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga come from ancient time, handed down from generation to generation, by tradition. For this reason what we know today as hatha yoga has undergone various variations over the time, the guru teaches his disciples the practice. the disciples in turn teach the practice to their students, but each with their own experience, feeling and understanding. this phenomenon has been going on for a long time and always will. everything is evolving, even the practice of yoga which must adapt to the times, places and new different lifestyles of modern society. over time we have certainly had great writers who wanted to transcribe and stop over time the methods and techniques of this ancient tradition. to quote the most famous Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Geranda Samhita , Goraksa Samhita.. A part of these what we can say practically about Classical Hatha Yoga is that is a practice that must be lived, incorporated and carried out step by step on the path of one’s life. Practicing everyday, something will grow with you, will live with you and take the steps of your life with you. Will evolve with you , will evolve you. This is your practice. The positions that must be adopted during the practice, called Asanas, are performed almost with the eyes closed and that means that is nothing about external performance to show, to prove or whatever, but it is a real inner journey, into yourself. If you close your eyes, you are going to meet yourself without caring about anything out of you. nothing bothers you and nothing disturbs you. Nothing. Now, here, with eyes closed, there is only you, your breath, yourself. There are not limits in application of Yoga.
